Around Colorado Springs and the Garden of the Gods
We spent the 4th of July weekend in Colorado this year. The following pictures were taking near Colorado Springs and the Garden of the Gods park.

Small pine cone buds after a rain.
A $40,000 Stallion trike parked at the Walgreen's in Woodland Park, Colorado
Balanced Rock, near the entrance to the Garden of the Gods park in Colorado Springs.
Inside the Garden of the Gods park. There were a few people scaling the rock formations and a lot of people walking and riding around the park. We even saw a Segway tour on the trail.
We got out and did some light rock climbing.
Nothing too extreme.
Even through the area was fairly arid and there were cacti, the temperature never got above about 85°
