Gereut

In early June '06 I started riding my bike from the wohnheim on Pestalozzistraße in Bamberg to Schloss Seehof in the early mornings for exercise. Schloss Seehof is a baroque palace about twenty minutes from Bamberg by bike. The palace is actually just outside of Gereut, a small village surrounded by fields and farms. Seehof isn't an incredibly large complex, at least not when compared to some of the other estates in the region. There is an impressive garden on the grounds and a couple of lakes behind the palace with statues throughout.
